The Fairy Doll – Original production by the All American Ballet Company

The “Fairy Doll” ballet, on music by J. Bayer, was first performed in Vienna in 1888, becoming the most successful ballet of it’s time. To this day, it holds a place in the schedule of the Vienna State Opera, having been performed on several other European stages.

All American Ballet Company is proud to present this beloved European classic, in an original, exhilarating choreography by Clarissa Boeriu, complete with colorful new sets and costumes.

The Fairy Doll is a story about dolls, magic, dancing and fun. It is the story of a toy shop, where a charmed doll brings dancing toys to life, in an adventure that will thrill and capture your imagination. At the same time, it is also a showcase of bravura in classical ballet technique.

The cast features 75 dancers from All American Ballet School, including  9 award winning dancers in soloist roles and a professional cast of guest artists: Alexander Greschenko – principal Bolshoi Ballet, Amy Womer – principal All American Ballet Company, Katherine Schafer – principal All American Ballet Company and Heather Wallace – Ballet Met.

“The Fairy Doll” will be performed on June 11 @ 7:00pm and on June 12 @ 2:00pm, at Ventura College Theater, entrance on Loma Vista, Ventura. Ticket prices are $18, $15 and $10. Tickets can be obtained by calling AABC at 805-650-6316 or online at www.AllAmericanBallet.org.
